Davenport is a small city in northeast Polk County. It was first called Horse Creek, then renamed for Fort Davenport, built in 1838, and it incorporated in 1915. Citrus built the town, and the groves shaped it for decades. In the 1920s the Holly Hill Grove and Fruit Company sold house lots with grove plots attached around Davenport. Now the growth is houses. The city went from 2,888 residents in 2010 to 9,043 in 2020. Many of the people moving in are buying a garage floor that has never been sealed.
Most of those garages are new, because that growth came as new subdivisions. Some homes host vacation guests, and the city even issues its own vacation rental certificate. The older part of town sits along US 17/92, which runs through the center. New or old, bare concrete wears the same way. It stains, it dusts, and it soaks up whatever drips on it.
Our process starts by diamond grinding the slab. That opens the surface and leaves clean concrete the coating can grip, and it strips off any old paint. Acid is never part of it. Standard crack repair is included for every Davenport slab. Next we lay the full polyaspartic system, base coat through color flake to the clear topcoat. It is made to keep its color, not turn yellow.
The installers on a Davenport job are on our own staff. We hire them, teach them our system, and keep the work in house. No subcontractors and no franchise, so the company that prices your floor is the company that stands behind it. Each interior floor comes with a lifetime warranty. And we price it at the lowest rate in Greater Orlando, with a price match behind it.
