Riverview has grown fast. The census counted 71,050 people here in 2010 and 107,396 in 2020, a jump of about 51 percent. It is still unincorporated, part of Hillsborough County, and it started small. The community was founded in 1885 on the north shore of the Alafia River, and in 1921 it became home to Florida's first commercial poultry farm. MyGarageFloors offers Riverview homeowners a single floor, a full polyaspartic flake system.
That growth means most Riverview garages are fairly young. Many sit in newer subdivisions with HOAs, two or three car garages and plain gray slabs. New does not mean perfect. Fresh concrete still shrinks and cracks as it cures, and builder slabs often show tire marks and spills within the first year. Older homes closer to the river and out toward the Boyette area have slabs with more years on them, and more stains to match.
No matter the age, the first step is a diamond grind. It opens the concrete and gives the coating a clean surface to bond to. We never use acid. Repair of standard cracks is included, and you see it in the online price. If the floor was coated before, we grind that off too. Then comes the full polyaspartic system from base coat to clear topcoat, with flake in the middle. Riverview sun will not yellow it.
Everyone who works on your floor is a MyGarageFloors employee. We hire them and train them in our own system. We do not subcontract and we are not a franchise. Riverview interior floors carry our lifetime warranty, so if one ever peels, chips or delaminates, the fix is on us. The price is the lowest in Greater Tampa Bay, and we match lower quotes.
