Apollo Beach began as mangroves and pasture on the south shore of Tampa Bay. Michigan businessman Francis Corr bought the land in 1957, and by 1958 it had the name Apollo Beach. His son Thomas kept building it out for decades. Today the community has an estimated 55 miles of canals, and the 2020 census counted 26,002 residents. Tampa Electric's Big Bend Power Station sits on its northern edge. MyGarageFloors brings these homes one product, a full polyaspartic flake garage floor.
Life here is built around the water, and so are the garages. Canal homes often keep a boat, a trailer, fishing gear and coolers next to the car. MiraBay, a gated community around a saltwater lagoon with boat access to the bay, adds newer homes to the mix. Older canal streets have slabs from the early decades of development. Both kinds take a beating from salt, sand and wet gear, and the older ones often show rust stains from years of trailers.
We fix the surface before we coat it. A diamond grinder cuts the slab back to clean, open concrete. There is no acid etching. Any old paint or coating comes off in that pass. Normal crack repair is folded into the online price. Then we install the full polyaspartic system, base coat, flake and clear topcoat. The finish will not yellow in the bright bayside sun.
Your installers are on our payroll. MyGarageFloors hires every one and trains them in our system. We never use subcontractors, and we are not a franchise. Our lifetime warranty stands behind each Apollo Beach interior floor: a peel, a chip or delamination means we come fix it. Pricing is the lowest in Greater Tampa Bay, and we will match a lower quote.
