Plant City is named for Henry B. Plant, the railroad builder whose line brought trade to this corner of east Hillsborough County. The area was first called Ichepuckesassa, then Cork, and it was incorporated as a town in 1885. These days it is best known for strawberries and the Florida Strawberry Festival each winter. The 2020 census counted 39,764 residents. MyGarageFloors makes one product for homes here, a full polyaspartic flake garage floor.
Plant City still has a small town core. The downtown historic residential district and the north side hold older homes, and many of their garages have seen generations of use. Walden Lake, a large master planned community built around a lake, adds a big stretch of established homes. On bigger lots around town, garages often hold more than cars. Farm trucks, tractors, tools and feed bags all leave their mark on bare concrete.
Fixing that starts with grinding. We diamond grind the slab to clean, open concrete and skip acid entirely. Old paint or coatings come off at the same time. Standard crack repair is part of the job and part of the online price. On top goes the full polyaspartic system, a base coat, a broadcast of flake and a clear topcoat. The color stays true and will not yellow in the sun, even on a garage that faces the fields.
Our installers are MyGarageFloors employees. We hire each person and train them in our system ourselves. No subcontractors and no franchise owners. A Plant City interior floor is backed for life, and our price is the lowest in Greater Tampa Bay. You can get your exact price online in about 60 seconds. Nobody comes out to measure, and nobody tries to sell you.
