Before the Civil War, this part of east Hillsborough was called Long Pond. It was renamed Valrico in the 1880s, a name said to mean rich valley in Spanish. A railroad came through around 1890. Then the 1895 freeze stalled the town, and the stock market crash of 1929 shut nearly every business. Real growth came back in the mid 1950s, once State Road 60 linked Valrico to Tampa. MyGarageFloors.com brings one floor to Valrico garages: a full polyaspartic flake system.
Today Valrico is a census place of 37,895 people, between Brandon to the west and FishHawk to the south. The town covers about 14 square miles. It is largely a family town. At the 2020 census, 60.2 percent of households were married couples. Homes range from older properties on bigger lots to newer subdivisions. Many have pools and two or three car garages. Those garages work hard, and the bare concrete shows every drip.
Here is how we change that. A diamond grinder cleans the slab down to open, bare concrete, and no acid touches it. Any past coating comes off at this stage. Cracks of the usual kind are repaired at no extra charge. On top goes the full polyaspartic system: a base coat, a full broadcast of flake and a clear topcoat. It keeps its color and will not yellow in the sun.
MyGarageFloors.com is a single company, not a franchise. Our installers are our own staff. We hire each one, train each one in our system and never pass a job to a subcontractor. Your interior floor gets a lifetime warranty at the lowest price in Greater Tampa Bay. A written quote for the same complete polyaspartic floor is covered by our price match.
